Could this help you guys out with removing the strut nut???

Hey,
I was pondering on my royal white throne of thought tonight and reading my roommates 4 wheel drive hardware catalog and came across this...

WILMAR UNIVERSAL SHOCK NUT TOOL SET (W80551)

NEVERMIND

I found this...

UNIVERSAL STRUT NUT REMOVER W83015
*about 1/3 of the way down*
Google Products has them listed for about $20.00

* Removes top nut on most MacPherson Struts
* Contains:
3/4" adaptor
6.5 mm Hex & "Double D"
7.5 mm Hex & "Double D"
T-50 Star
10 mm internal Hex & "Double D"
* Instructions on back of package

I remember people having problems with that (I think it was that part)
Let me know if you need any more site info or anything.

-Seth

Generally, you just need an offset head closed end wrench for the outter nut, and an allen head socket for the rod, but this is a neat little kit.

Ya, I remember people talking about how they were having trouble with it. That and if they don't have an offset head wrench.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
