Hi All, i just discovered this site, great!

I am upgrading the suspension on a project car i got: Cavi 2.2L 2002 coupe and i just bought a set of TENZO R GF2 lowering springs which would lower my car about 2 inches (F&R). Any input on the shocks?? how about these springs? any comments?

thnks.

springs are nothing special, pretty low end... the struts are a stock replacement not meant to handle any kind of a drop. Basically you just wasted your money on a garbage setup, the struts will blow pretty quickly and its gonna ride like @!#$, you should have done some research before buying.

but welcome

Hey buddy, than ks for the reply. However, i just bought the springs that's all, and i was looking on some imput about the struts (brands and overall performance) since i know i cant use the stock struts and shock because they are not designed to be low profile.

But thanks for the comment anyways.

heh..got ya there darkstars..Welcome to the org..springs prolly not the best out there..but they will work. As far as struts go koni yellows and tokiko(sp) D-specs are specifically made for lowering..they will set ya back quite a bit. You could pick up some Kyb struts or koni reds for a little cheaper, they may not be ideal, but they should work

Honestly the Tenzo drop springs have been one of the biggest surprises for us. They are not junk, they are actually some damn good springs. They are less harsh than Eibachs and seem to corner just as well, and do it more comfortably. I'm sure if they cost the same as the Eibach's less people would say they are junk. When you don't have to pay for the Eibach name you can afford to sell them at a great price.

Koni yellows are pretty much the shock/strut of choice around here.
