about 20 feet from pulling into my drive way i herd somthing drop from my car, ran back and picked it up it was two rings( one plastic with groves on one side and one metal one. dont kno what else to say to decribe them. is it safe to drive?

Looks like some sort of bearing protective cover. I have no idea where its from though. The pictures aren't exactly the best quality.
