Once again Tokico HP Struts are not a factory replacement...From my understanding and speaking with them..The HP strut is the same Strut as the DSpec..But it cant be adjusted...They also told me that the warranty would be covered up to a 1.8 inch drop as Long as the Bump Stops were cut...The KYB is stricly a Factory replacment..2 Buddys of mine both with cavys..One is Running KYB strut and the ride is very soft and does not handle much better than stock..He was pissed after buying them...The other car Running Dspecs felt really good stiff but was everthing you want to making it handle better...I decided to try the HPs to really see what they felt like..And to see if Tokico was telling me the truth..So far I have nothing bad to say about them..They are stiff..and in the corners really come to life..I am not getting as much rear end sag off the line..They feel comparable to the Dspec...But I cant adjust them..My out look is I am happy if I was Auto crossing or drag racing the Car I would buy the Dspecs..For ever day driving and maybe the odd day at the Track the HPs will be fine..But to each there own and this is only my out look..
Right on, What springs are you running with the HP's and how long have you had them??
Thanks for the review....
I am a set of Custom made springs from Canuck MotorSport...I need it to support the System in the trunk..The front is 2.0 inchs and the rear is 1.4..But with the weight of the system the car has a 2 finger gap in the front and 3 in the rear...So it has a bit of a positive rake to it ..Which I find works well for off the line not alot of rear sag...I have only had the struts in for about 2 months now...I know it is not a long time..But I hope they fair out well..But like I said I just wanted to try them...My next setup if this does not work to well is KW Coil overs..But only time will tell..But all in all for the price they seem to work well...

Also if Tokico HP's are just stock replacements how come Tokico makes a set-up with a 1.4" drop on HP's??
You can use them on lower cars they just will not last long...
Get the Koni yellows, do it once and do it right, and save in the long run.
