well, i am having to replace my ball joints on both sides...cheaper to do it myself and it doesnt seem too hard to do. the question is, since im already in there, would you recomend changing out the control arm bushings too?
btw, they are 35 bucks at car customs.

It should be easy.

You have to remove the old one. You could do this on the car but it will be much easier to do it off the car. Either way you will probably need a wheel alignment. That being said I'd recommend that you remove them from the car so you can install the bushings as was said above.

Unbolt the ball joint from the spindle. Remove the control arm from the car. (Or not) To remove the ball joint you need to drill the rivets. Hammer off the old ball joint and bolt in the new one. Make sure to use the cotter key to lock in the spindle bolt.

Yeah, it's a lot easier doing balljoints with the control arm out, and while it's out spend the extra 45 min and put the bushings in as well.
