hey guys need some help from y'all, i purchased the Eibach swaybar kit and the rear install went smoothly, the front was a bit tougher but i still got it in, now i went ahead to jack the subframe up and bolt it back in. i have to replace my tierods anyways so i disconnected them, and when i go ahead to re connect them and i realize that the swaybar is sitting too high, and when the wheels turn the swaybar actually hits the driveshaft on both sides.
does anyone have any ideas, here are some pics to show you what i mean.

and
here
its like that on both sides, and when i hook up the tie rods, its very clear that im not going to be turning very much at all.
oh and one more thing, im going to be taking the swaybar off, and returning evreything to stock on the front, (at least untill next weekend where i will have time to bust open the project again.) are there any problems that may arise when driving a FWD with only a rear swaybar for a week or so? if i can avoid it i would rather not remove both front and rear.
thanx for all the help guys
I think the sway bar might need to be fliped from side to side. Its hard to tell from the pics though. And it is fine to drive withonly the rear bar. Lots of people have just a rear. Just dont hit the brakes in the middle of a hard corner.
Go Go OG Traction!!
It looks like you have the bar installed upside down.
searching > you
this has been brought up many times.... if the Eibach bars are instaled correctly you have to swap the front and rear end links, but the rear ones on the front and the front ones on the rear, they all come packaged wrong or something but this exact same issues gets brought up all the time.
This looks like a combo of all the answers actually. LOL.
Your bar is upside down and you put the endlinks in the wrong spots.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
wow, i guess i didnt search well enough. and to think i actually did all of my reasearch
i can see the endlinks being a possible solution to the problem but for the bar being upside down the tie-rods rub against the bar when i have it flipped around the other way.
iether way next weekend i will follow the given advice, and let you know how it goes.
once agian the JBO pulls thru, thanx guys

on the positive side it should only take you a hour now.

The Eibach writing has to be upside down (when it's installed).... plus yeah, swap the front and rear spacers and bolts....
You're lucky you have both bars from the kit.... a while back I bought two kits and parted them out to three others, while I kept the front bar... so we all ended up with the wrong f'n hardware!!!
Definitely upside down, I did the same thing. Duh (smakes himself in the head). I shouldv'e known better.
