One thing i dont see on here is suggestions on a good rotor and brake package.. i know there's a bunch on the sites for our cars, like turbo tech, carcustoms, and gravana, but which packages are the most popular? they seem to be pretty inexpensive, between like 190 and 260 so im not trippin out. Which package do u guys suggest?

you can do them yourself.
SP Performance Rotors and EBC YellowStuff Pads is what I have. Never had a problem with the combo either.

IF your just looking for a stock solution I find Guaridan does the job just fine. Pads/Rotors. Lasted well over 60000km on my old cavy.

Axxis Ultimates are some of the best brake pads you can buy for street/track use in my opinion. They create a lot of dust, but work exceptionally well with a little heat in the system.
I prefer to use Brembo OEM rotors because they are only about $50 for the set compared to slotted rotors at $150 a set. Slotted rotors provide some performance gain, but tear through your pads rather quickly. You can't get them resurfaced, so after your pads wear through you are left with a rotor that still has 40-50% of its life left. If your brakes last you a couple years, it probably won't matter, but I end up changing my brakes out at least once a year because of all the track use they see.
Stainless lines are worth their weight in gold. Definitely one of the best modifications I've added to the car.
I have Brembo OEM rotors as well, used in conjunction with Performance Friction Pads and the stainless lines, solid combination with an amazing pedal feel. Dust isn't a problem, they stay quiet under heavy breaking and I get a lot of wear out of them. I had a set of cross drilled rotors and the performance was improved but pad wear was increased which is why I went back to OEM style rotors.
I had a set of Hawks on my car awhile ago, I got a lot of dust and pad chatter, performance was good though, now a days I swear by Performance Friction ... just my two cents.

For all rotors just make sure you condition them when you get them, if you dont they die very quickly and dont perform as long.

That's what I have, and they are the best brakes I've ever used. I love them. I'd also get some stainless lines too. They make a big difference on the track.
i want as minimal brake dust as possible... brake dust on stock z rims ftl....

My hawk pads have way less brake dust than stock pads.
Hawk + powerslot FTW!
The Hawk pads and Power slot rotors are great add a set of braided stainless steel brake hoses to the package also for best effect.
Thats Him Officer The WICKED One.
Powerslot and Hawk IMO
