hi, i ask this question as im having some issues mounting my crossmember up to my frame. its seems that i cant get the passenger side bolt holes to line up flush to the frame rails. i can post pics, but has anyone ever done the irs swap on a 2000+????
strange that the drivers side sits flush, just not the passenger side.. and im sure that its not hitting on the spare tire well.
any thoughts, suggestions??? ill try and get some pics up.

john has a 00 vert , his 99 was gone along time ago
My first swap was on the 03 half-car I'm turning into a trailer... I flipped it upside down, makes things so much easier!
The real first swap was on my 2000 vert (this car), the second was on my old 99 vert (for the new owner, Patrick).. the third was Jay's 98 Sunfire. All the chassis' are identical, the only difference is the second hose to the fuel filler neck on the 95-98 cars... but it fits in the space provided in the new crossmember, so it's no concern....
If it's not sitting flat against the framerails... and you've already dented in the spare tire well to accommodate it.... then either your frame rails are bent, or the crossmember is. Make sure you've dented the spare tire well in far enough... I had problems the first time I tried to mount mine, we hadn't pushed it in far enough.
