let's hear it. i think mine wear off too fast, 15-20k and that's it
i have a ceramic pad + drilled/sloted brake combo
regular pads ans stock rotors lasted 3 years at about 12-14,000 miles a year.
this is mostly stop and go traffic
That does certainly seem near the extreme for frequently wearing them out, but not unheard of either. Slotted rotors do tend to be harder on pads, and driving tendencies could have a lot to do with it also.

I do as many autocross events as possible each year, I hit up the drags once in a while, and I tend to be an agressive driver. I go through pads (ceramic) and rotors (oem) just a little over a year ( 15-20k ) . I just now installed EBC pads and rotors so we will see how they do this year.
make sure that pads are sitting right inside the calipers. I had to grab a set of new calipers and used my old pads on them and one of the clips would no longer hold the pad in (this is on greenstuf pads too). Well now i have 3 good pads and 1 bad one. I guess its time to upgrade even more
I have 36,000 and have 30% pad life left.
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
I have 41,000 miles on mine and they're about ready to get changed. No grinding, no squeeking and the rotors are just fine.
12,000 - 15,000 miles?? Maybe try using your tranny to slow your ass down.
I got about 20K out of my Hawk HPS. I'm a fairly laid back street driver but extremely aggressive on the autox course, very hard on brakes.
I'm trying out the Brembo Sport pads this season we'll see how they do.
