Found this. Just wondering where this kit came from. Who else makes a rear conversion kit for jbodies besides RKsport. Cause thats def not rksports setup

That looks like a Neon setup based on the machined brackets...
Here's my neon brackets for reference:

Looks like he bought them ffrom the GP for $2xx and is trying to sell them for 2x that.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

At least it looks like they've made it a complete kit, with rotors, calipers, and shoes. I can't really say that the $100 shipping cost is called for though.

Yup.....those are some I machined....there not true neon brackets, as far as I know I'm the only one who has machined other mopar brackets besides TRUE neon brackets.....
The lines are XPR also.....same as supplied in the kits I've sold.

just curious how they are not true neon brackets, they look exactly like the neon brackets i have sitting in my basement for my brothers neon.
on another note, damn theres like no material between the holes on that bracket, has anyone had any problems with the cracking??? my daytona brackets look a lot beefier
I got brackets designed from a beretta that would work on that cavalier rear.

The brackets he pictured are his Daytona brackets, not the ones in his basement.
OK, there not neon because if you look very close you can tell where the ABS sensor pops in isn't the same.....the neon has hump and the other mopar brackets dont....trust me, I've seen more of these brackets than anybody on the org......those aren't true neon brackets. I've never had any problems.....I've run FEA on the bracket even without filleting edges where I've cut that brackets and theres a safety factor of 2.0 right before the tires lock which is the highest stress....asumming 235's with soft street tires. So there should be no problems.
Also, the problem with the daytona brackets is either you have to lengthen the ebrake cable or run new ones, or you can flip the bracket upsidedown and so the stock ebrake works but then the calipers will be hanging down and look dumb. Thats why I havn't messed with daytona brackets.....cause even more problems then the neon brackets.
Also, remember with the bolt holes....the bracket when the brakes are applied is gonna want to twist...theres plenty of material to keep the bracket from twisting.....it makes no difference that the bolt look the way they do...none at all.

i just did the daytona cause it looked like a lot less work to have the brackets machined, so are the "mopar" brackets and neon brackets essentially the same but the mopar ones come from say an intrepid??
where can i find machined neon brackets im really interested in doing this i hate those drums!!!

Send Joshua Dearman a pm or email. Also in the group purchase forum he has info on the kit he has put together.

Yes, "Mopar" brackets as I refer to them can come from ANY...well....mopar, being dodge, plymouth, chrysler...ect. The neon brackets are esentially the same, no advantage to either....other than ease of machining. The neon brackets are a little easier if you dont have the right tools, which I do have so its indifferent to me. I will be seting up another GP here in about 4-5 weeks, hopefully upwards of 20 kits will be up for grabs....we'll see.
alright that sounds good how much will i be paying josh and whats included??
^Check out the GP thats is up right now, the GP itself is over but I will be running another one in a few weeks...and the price wont change so it will answer your question.
