GM strut bar help
Tuesday, February 27, 2007 6:04 PM
I picked up a sunfire convertible strut bar from the wreckers. It fits perfectly BUT now I need to remount the electronic box that was attached to the passenger side strut tower. What have others done to relocate or re attach? Zip tying to strut bar is not very secure and it looks amateurish. Any help is appreciated and pics are worth a thousand words.

Some GM strut bars have a new mount point for the cruise control module. Apparently you didn't get that one? Just try bending the bracket around or move it to the firewall and mount it with some self tapping sheet metal screws and some rubber washers.

I bent the bracket on mine and mounted it by only one bolt. That's one way to do it.
