Ok im looking for some performance shocks and springs that I can bolt on, I dont mind putting the springs on the struts. Is ther any other assembly required?
thanks
you'll need an alignment afterwards, but it depends on what you get. im sure stripped cav will chime in, he knows about this stuff.

cool thanks, I dont wonna get in over my head.
Are koni yellows the same as koni sports, because I found some and the sports are alot cheeper
Yellows are better, but more of a pain to install. I have the yellows with Eibach prokit and love them. Definately worth the effort, and there are good instructions on the forums somewhere.

Thanks but I stoped being lasy and searched the faq found a link to tirerack and found some KYB AGX adjust and some EIBACH springs, think thats a good combo?
before I buy them.
thanks
agx + pro kit = yes if its the sportlines you want dspecs (i believe they are more of a direct bolt up than the koni struts)
I bought them about a hour ago, first time to ever buy over the internet, but my freind buys from tirerack all the time and he says he never has any problem.
EBACH SPORTLINES on KYB AGX struts and EBACH CAMBOLTS I hope they ride good for $813.94
sportlines will blow your agx's, the rears are too low, 2.3" while the agx's are only warrantied for 1.5". And you wont need the camber bolts. See if you can change your order to the eibach prokit
^^ yup those springs are going to blow those struts. those struts are only good for a 1.5" drop maybe 1.7" at the max. anyway kyb voids their warranty for anything passed 1.5". either get koni yellows or dspec struts or change the springs to the prokit. cheapest thing to do is change the springs.
fyi camber bolts are not need for our cars
I love how he read the FAQs long enough to find a link to find a link to Tire Rack, but must have skimmed the parts about the limits of AGX struts, and camber bolts.
A shame, really, since the money he would have saved by not worrying about camber would have gone a long way toward getting struts that would handle the Sportlines properly.

Well that sucks to late now, ill just save and get some koni's next.
I wont it to be that low. How long does it take to blow the struts?
SON OF A B@#*!
Depending on how much and how hard you drive, and how lucky you are, it could happen in mere days, or it might never blow. It just sort of sucks to risk your investment and your safety over something avoidable. Even not taking into account the safety factor of never knowing when it might blow and compromise your handling in a crucial moment -- it just sucks to have spent that much on new parts, when for that little bit more you can get a warranty and some peace of mind.

I agree with Geeky. Do it right the first time. We know those struts are going to blow, so why waste the time and money on them? Get the Koni yellows and return the AGX or sell them on ebay. Also check your upper mounts, if you see cracking or the car is more then 5 years old, get new ones (the old pre-99 mounts for the front are the best).
