so i just got the eibach sportlines and need to know what shocks to go with. I know the koni yellows and tokico d-specs will work but i dont have that kind of money right now. is there any alternate shocks i can get, and if so where can i get them?

You've named the ones that will work properly, and retain a warranty. The common opinion is that if you can't afford them, keep saving your money until you can. Something like the KYB AGXs will be more economical, but aren't really well suited to that much of a drop (max 1.5"). Almost anything else would be an OEM replacement unsuited to any drop, and downright dangerous.

That said, I'm probably going to try Sportlines with stock struts this summer. If I survive, I'll have a greater appreciation for the improvement when I finally buy the right struts.

I have the Sportline springs with the Koni reds and I think its by far the best setup. I have mine set pretty firm though maybe a little TOO firm but over all ive had the setup for almost 4 years with no problems just need new strut mounts.

koni or dspecs is the way to go. if you dont have the money then wait because you'll be spending more money if you get the wrong struts

^listen to this man... i once was young and foolish myself and tempted faith by installing sportlines on stock struts, horrible ride, bounced every where and was down rite hard on the suspension as awhole... im glad i got my d-specs this time around...

I also have the Sportlines with Koni reds. Love them!! Lots of miles on them as well.I think Mantapart Blisten struts will take the drop as well. I know someone will say something about Mantapart, bt they still have some good products.

ALWAYS! Do it right the first time. I gathered my parts for literally one year, to make sure I had everything I needed. Go cheap now, pay more later... Smile now, cry later. Sportlines and Koni Yellows (adjustable) is perfect... adjust tight for the streets... loosen for long trips. I'm glad I went the way I did!
