Are there any big brake set ups out there that will fit in a stock 16" wheel?
I am looking to get a big brake setup on my car but need a set up that can fit in the 16" wheels too... reason is i use my old summer rims which are 16's for winter time so i need something that will still work with them

Sorry
I belive spacers are your only option to use with 16inchers. I have the front big ones and rear disc conversion. Believe me get some 17's the negatives from getting the 17inchers are WAY LESS then the PROS of the brakes!!!
I was on the phone with Baer a long time ago. Their 12" and 13" brakes use the same caliper, so the clearance issues are the same and I'd bet it's the same case for SSBC. I don't know for sure but I'd guess that the Willwoods would give you the most leeway. If you could find a 16 inch wheel with enough clearance that would work for you, but nothing is going to work with the stock 16s. Baer has some templates that might help you search.
my theory is that the wilwood kit will fit some aftermarket 16's, but there is NOTHING that will fit the STOCK 16's. you'll need about a 1" (25mm) spacer to fit the wilwoods with the stock 16's, which wont happen lol. this is why im making myself some custom wilwood 11" brakes =X

id say get a winter beater or some beater 17's that will fit.
well my 16s i use for winter have more clearence then a stock 16" wheel i know that but... i was thinking about it and i think im jsut goint to skip the big brake kit.. and go with just some braided lines and Drilled/slotted stock replacement rotors...
thanks any way though

ive got a pair of enkie 5spoke wheels in 16" that fit over the wilwoods ive got
a 15" rim will fit over the wilwoods also if you can get spokes that will clear the calipers
another way to go is grand am/alero/malibu fronts , but you gotta change the outter knuckle of axle , spindle and lug pattern
^ haha yes, thats not an easy swap.
