Well im just wondering what kind of fabrication some of you may have done to your car underneath after lowering it. The reason i ask is because my car rubs underneath when going over the speed bumps. I avoid all the big one but i still getting rubbing underneath with the small ones to. I have a feeling it may be the exhaust. Any suggestions? My cars lowered on Eibach Sportlines.
Thanks
I DRIVE AROUND THEM. Easy solution.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

if ur droped that low than its jsut gonna happen....i keep my car no lower and 1.5" from stock

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Exhaust is the most common thing to hit. You may be able to get it up a little higher, but you're pretty much stuck avoiding things.
yea exhaust who needs it. im almost on my 3rd because of these damn huge speed bumps in az
do you drive on an angle over them? thats like the first thing you learn when you lower a car. if the incline is too steep or theres a speed bump, you go over it on an angle, not head on
My Maro is stock height and my exhaust scrapes on everything.

Absolutely nothing done to the Cavvy to make it rub.

The only thing I ever hit is the aluminum lip on the front bumper, and thats only when I drive up some slight inclines, not speed bumps. But then again, my exhaust is all custom and tucked up nicely. The angled approach is the easiest way to avoid hitting anything.
Avoid it. Angle it. If you're fully loaded, you're just doomed.. everytime I have people in my car I shriek at the site of speed bumps.. I'm always just waiting for my catalytic to scrape.. horrible sound.
Asking who doesn't like speed bumps is a preaty dumb question, I'd be surprised if anyone actually liked speed bumps..... and also I'm lowered on sportlines on my tan cav and I have never bottomed it out or scraped the car on anything.

now the guy that stole my car got stuck on one and thats how the cops caught him so i LOVE SPEED BUMPS. even though i was left with no tranny. because the dumb ass that stole it drove it with no tranny fluid
hell i stop and put the car in reverse and find another damn way to where im going its not worth breaking @!#$ to get to k-mart or something lol
there is a speed bump at k-mart that no matter how slow i went (factory height without bodykit) i always bottomed out
damn things serve no purpose
the people that want to speed around usually dont care to ramp @!#$
lol
jk

I love them jsut learn how ot @!#$ drive and you won't have a problem at all. I have a kit and was slammed about 1-2 inches off the ground for 3 years almsot 4 now and never have problems. You jsut have to learn to adapt your driving habits to how low your car is. My car has ben fine in down town chicago, downtown san diego and cross country from IL to CA.
