ok ok ok took out my hacked cut springs threw in some new struts mounts, struts and springs up front ya know the good stuff. back to stock up front. go to good year for this alignment right.... told me an hour so i took care of some stuff.... come back and my cars outside and i asked if everything went ok and he says "no" i ask why and he replies with a load a BS "metal to metal front brakes, rear suspenion was tampered with, wrong tire sizes!?!?! and a control arm bushing pulled through"
Kinda garbage is this i think i would know if i had metal to metal brakes and the tire sizes gimme a goddamn break. needless to say i was heated. so half the auto stores around say they cant even get the control arm bushing idk what to do someone wanna explain to me whats goin on. and im just gonna keep running through tires like i change my undies!
buy the prothane control arm bushings and next time lower your car the right way
do you know what the stock size tire is???
granted the "wrong size" tire shouldn't be an issue when aligning, but different sizes would be a problem.
honestly i don't see a problem, they told you what you have wrong with your car? whats your complaint?
ryan you are right...but why couldnt they have called me i sat ariound for 45 minutes....i do want the prothane kit.... from RKsport? or what does it come in a set for one side or are each sold sep.?
it depends on the sales person , or the service writer. They might haev figured you wouldn't want to do the work there so they didn't bother wasting there time trying to sell you the stuff... yes they are stupid for not calling you and telling what was wrong, because its a possible sale that they lost. but its really no reason to be mad at them, atleast they told you, and didn't pretend they aligned it when they didn't
best option go to carcustoms.net and purchase the prothane CA bushings, replace them, and fix what ever is wrong with the rear, and bring it to different store to get the car aligned.
You seem kinda uppity.
Honestly, if you brought your car to me for an alignment, and I saw a bunch of stuff wrong with it, I wouldn't touch it either until I'd discussed it further with you.
And I wouldn't hesitate to wait less than an hour for you to come back for that discussion either.
Did you tell them that you'd mucked about with the suspension and there was some damage there before you asked for the alignment?
So you've now got stock bits in the front. What springs and struts have you got in the back still?
