That kit isn't new and it is good.

I have it as well as a few others. Try doing a search for members with it and you'll find pics of my install even.

Oh and I sell it too. Not as cheap though

let me know how they turn out. and get some pics with em on, 1.2 in the front doesnt seem like an "agressive" drop to me.

It just doesnt look low enough for me. I love a slammed cavi. Yours looks like mine right now on stock. I would like to atleast tuck a little or come really close.

It's a performance drop....not a wacky looks drop. Get this kit if you want improved handling and adjustability from your suspension. Get something else if you just want to slam your car and don't care about handling.

Well I was talking more along the lines of Koni Yellows and Ground Controls. But hey, thats just for looks and they dont handle at all.....

was this a bolt on install or was there a need to modify the struts, for some reason i remeber people talking about the need to modify koni struts to work with the j- body

Never seen this set-up but price is nice. I would agree (for me) the drop is not enough. I have koni's and Sportlines with over 100k on them and great ride and look.

This is Koni Yellows and Koni Springs. not just Koni Yellows

Yes we have seen Koni yellows before, but going based off picture and what is said that is a complete strut and spring package from Koni, which I have not see before. Also those springs are not a pro kit or a sportline kit.

As Hypsy said this kit isn't new, and is for performance handling. The drop is NOT for looks, it is for handling. Don't confuse this kit with "lowering for looks" springs, cause they drop is NOT FOR LOOKS. I know this is hard to grasp, but most spring kits are for looks primarily, and somewhat improved handling as a side-effect.

I like the idea of around 670 bucks for the full suspension, and i had someone show me the drop. and i think it would look nice with a low profile bodykit or (lipkit). and ultimately, i like the look of the lowered car, but im more concerned about the gains i get from my suspension. I was reading today, and i came across an article that was saying that cavaliers dont have independant rear suspension its cross member or something, im wondering how bad this hinders the driveability with the koni package opposed to a car that has independent with the same or equal package? and if it totally makes the suspension suck, what is there as far as independent suspension swaps? i can never find things like this in search. so any help is much appreciated guys. also. for hypsy, you said you have this kit? as for the adjustability, im guessing that turned all the way soft-wise, it would still handle incredible, but would make for a softer ride similar to what probably kyb GR2 struts would do on stock springs, and engaged to full stiffness would be so harsh a ride that it would be limited to smoother surfaces and autocross events for sake of ass and back? hehe, im just trying to gather information as i am seriously looking into that kit with my cavy. it needs something to take away that sloppy ass feeling it has, probably has stock shocks/struts and springs at 89 almost 90k miles... thanks again guys, as always, love readin the posts on here

For the comfort aspect....

The full soft on all four is what I ride on daily. It handles really nice still with a bit of lean because of the softness but still better than stock. As for hard, it is HARD. I did drive almost the entire 2006 Hot Rod power Tour, from Kissimmee, FL to Englishtown, NJ, on full stiff on all 4 corners. That's a TON of miles and it wasn't the smoothest trip either. I did survive though, but with a slightly sore butt and back from it.

Does anyone actually have these on their J? If so, could you put some pics up? Id like to see how they look w/o a body kit on them car. Maybe a lip kit.

yes agreed, hehe anyone have a picture of this kit coupled with a body kit/lip kit please? i just want to know if its going to be a noticeable difference or if the ass end is still gunna be 20 inches in the air still. hehe, im more concerned with performance portion, but id still like it to look good

Sorry me again, I reread the drop and its 1.6 in the rear, that seems to be an alright drop to me. I got ahead of myself and thought it was 1.2 F&R. But 1.2F and 1.6R. Thats pretty good I guess, you could always sell the springs later on and then buy GC's or something to that nature.

Well if any of you could read I've already posted that I have the kit and there's plenty of pictures to be had.

Griffin: Why would you buy this kit just to sell the springs? Why not buy just the struts then? DUH.

... And if you could read, you would see that i said coupled with a "bodykit or lipkit" . that means i would like to see one with aftermarket ground effects friend. not tryin to be a dick, ok maybe a little bit, but your pictures from your profile dont asnwer my question. if you can give me a link to a cavalier with a bodykit as WELL as the koni kit listed above, that would answer my question. before you jump in and be a dick, read adn re-read waht people post please, thanks man, and dont tell me to search, because i have... maybe im a sucky searcher
