exactly what the title says..i hear a small rattle noise when i start the car ....when i turn left theres a rattlng noise when i give it gas turning left ....anyone with any ideas
i know the motor mount needs replaced but would it cause the noise when turning left only
so i jacked it up the strut mount doesnt seem to be bad...theres some sort of grease fitting that is busted i put grease in it and it came straight out the bottom and i dont know if the axle is suppost to move but i could move it in and out a little bit everything else seems tight...am i suppost to be able to move the axle in and out a little ? i guess i didnt really notice before either but sometimes you can here some rattling going on while driving
bad wheel bearing possibly...i read on automotive forums that if it makes the rattle driving straight and when you turn one direction but it doesnt do it the other its the wheel bearing...cause when you turn the wheel the other way the noise disapears..thats because its taking the pressure off the other wheel bearing ...what you all think?
When I needed to get a new front-right wheel bearing, it would actually only ever *stop* making noise when I loaded that wheel in a left turn. Maybe this was just a freak occurence though.
