Full Suspension help

I'm looking for a good performance suspension. I would like to stay above a 1.8 drop but get great handling in curves etc.
Money isnt really a issue since u normally get wat u pay for. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I'm driving a 04 ecotec cavalier.

Thanx Mike

YOU'VE GIVEN IT A SOUL. NOW TURN IT LOOSE. YOUR CAR IS AN EXTENSION OF YOUR PERSONALITY, A FINELY TUNED MACHINE, GREATER THAN A CREATION OF STEEL, RUBBER AND TORQUE. IT'S THERE TO TAKE YOU PLACES. YOU'VE GIVEN IT A SOUL THAT MOVES YOU. HOW YOU CUSTOMIZE THE OUTSIDE SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT WHO YOU ARE INSIDE!

Well with out your reg. being fully filled out I don't know it you have a Z GT or a base. But You have many options to choose from. Do you do any track events.....drag or autoX? Do you think you are going to want to adjust the struts? I do both drag and auto X and I am happy with my current set up, only thing I might change would be a subframe brace ( waiting to see if I will have clearance issues with my DP when i go turbo ) and possibly getting Ground control coil overs.

My current setup includes
225/40/18 rubber
Koni Yellows
Tein S tech springs
Addco Front Sway
Addco Rear Sway
F/B strut tower bars

Give us some more options and we well be able to help you more.

Aren't they all the same? with pre-02 z's and GT's (he has cav..) have a small sway bar?

I Do not compete at all..but..my setup
-Canuck Motorsports 1.8" springs
-KYB AGX adjustable shocks/struts
-New strut tower mounts
-tires: BFG traction T/A 90H 205/55R16's nothing special...

handles incredibly well over stock, you feel a lot of the bumps...get a decent bounce out of dips and large bumps.. (CM springs are good, but can buy better..not sure if that is the reason)
comfort can be lived with, a little on the rough/choppy side of things..all in my honest opinion

Oh im sorry im driving a 2.2 base model ecotec coupe...i had a 05 ls sport coupe and it had a pretty good suspension stock so i never changed it. Well i do drag everyonce in a while but i like autoX, I love being able to throw my car into a turn and it stick. I havent ever really looked into suspension that much thats why im asking guys who have already had there trial and error. I was going to buy some spings but from the looks of it its not very safe to put on stock struts.

I have all my friends..They think they know everything there is about cars.. tellin me not to get coil overs....and i have some tellin me to get coil overs etc etc. So i'm all confused about what to get lol....and no money issue.

And for ride comfort....that can be dealt with.

cuz like i said i'd like to get a full set up...Is it better to be able to adjust them? Or not be able to adjust them? I'm sure they both have there ups and downs. So if anyone could help.... i have all my friends tell me this and that...but like i said...i'd rather hear stuff from people who have trialed and errored lol

i just wanted performance... and im not to smart when it comes to the suspension part...lol i dont want nothing cheap that isnt going to last very long.

Thanx Mike

no edit button because your not premium. get the eibach prokit and kyb agx struts. thats a very popular choice and the springs lower you 1.4"

If you don't know why you want this is an excellent setup and 99% of people who get it never regret their decision.
$230 For springs off eBay
$350 for AGXs off eBay
Less than $600 for brand new setup that you'll love. Or find them in the classifieds if you can. There's sellers around who might give you a better price too, never know.
