Is this correct for ADDCO front swaybar addon?
Saturday, September 02, 2006 1:53 PM
I currently have a 00 base model 2 dr cav and just purchased a addco front sway bar ( and rear ) for it. Since my car does not have one stock, i want to make sure i get the correct stuff before attempting to put it on
is this all i need to make the addco bar work with my car? ( i got this from the suspension faq )

I went to the local Chevy Parts Department today, and got a list of parts I'll need to install an FE2 bar on my FE0 Cavalier ... Here's the list he gave me:

2 Clamps 22660396
2 Insulators 22619843
4 Bolts 11516328
2 Links 22657718

thanks

Clamps is all i think you would need, the rest is in the kit (ie links and bushings), you might need the bolts if they are the one's for the clamp to the subfame.

clamps only have one hole, so only need one bolt, and im told that one clamp is already on the car, so u only need one

yup, clamps clip in in the front, and bolt down in the rear Its a PITA to fit the addco in there tho unless you get it just right. Make sure the bushings are also facing the right direction, one has an angle cut out of it to properly fit.

Once you've installed the front bar you'll laugh at how people talk about it being difficult to do. I can do one in less than an hour now
