I replaced my breaks a couple of weeks ago and they were best kind for those 2 weeks. Then they start to stick when your just about to stop and you can here them pop look. I took the drums off again and nothing was loose at all. This keeps happeneing when i am just about to come to a stop. They stick and then you can here a crack( the shoes loosening) Maybe the wheel cylinders? handbrake need adjustment? Any suggestions?

did you replace the drums, mine did that for a while, the shoes had lots of meat but the drums were worn beyond spec, replaced everything and they worked awesome until i ripped them off and put rear discs on this spring

yip new drums, shoes, and hardware kit.........
Sounds like a cylinder leaking (just a few drops now and then) and making them stick.
mine are doing the samething
yea they looked a bit shady when i done my brakes so ill check that out.......
Ive been having the same problems for almost 2 years and i still cant find a solution.. I have no leaks or anything.. I changed out both drums and the same one (Driver side) locks up after about 2 weeks to a month.. Im starting to wonder if it isnt the shoes that are messed up and warping the drum.. Im seriously thinking about switiching to discs.. Oh well sooner or later we'll come up with a solution..
