which are the better to get
i m lookin for good handeling and a relitevly soft ride
the ride i have now is garbage but i also have horrible coilover sleeves
superstreets but there twice the amount of the basics
basics dont have any adjustibility? If I remember someone was saying on here earlier that the basics are really stiff and can't be adjusted. but i could be wrong. Anyway, go with the SS, and get the EDFC, you'll love it.
the basics arent "really stiff", really stiff are cheap ebay coilovers with near 500 lb/in spring rates, we tell people not to get em, they do anyways though.
......the basics are just as stiff as the super streets with a 340 front and 220 rear.
if you want a soft ride, stick to stock or a small drop progressive rate springs like suspension techniques.
if you want something that can handle, is responsive and sticks to the road, tein is great.
if you want the ability to adjust the damping, get the super streets.
Basics are not stiff, they are a very controlled ride. They have decently stiff springs and dampers that are perfectly matched to them. They are the perfect setup for someone who wants a good ride with a low look. If you are serious about Autox or other motorsports, splurge for the super streets. They both have the same spring rates, but the SS have adjustable damping, and pillow ball mounts (camber plates), but if you aren't going to adjust them, they are overkill.

Go Go OG Traction!!
thanks for all the help
i think ill get the super streets because i can get a great deal
im just using them for looks and possibly racing in the future
i wont be auto crossing though
