Well on friday I think I am going to pick up my Reds with RK sport Coils.
The person who is selling them to me said that the rear mounts are fine, but the ones in front need to be replaced.
My question is, Is it possible to safely use the stock mounts?
the small springs used for the adjustable systems are alot smaller then the stock upper mount surface and therefore won't sit properly causing a hazard. would sudgest replacing the top mount with the proper size one.
Stock ones are fine so long as you've got the bearings and top hats that come with the RK Sport coilovers and they're in good working condition.
Before you take them, make sure all 4 collars can be loosened and tightened and freely adjusted. Over time they can go to crap if not properly taken care of.
