burn rubber smell and smoke...

well i hit a brick in the road couple weeks ago and replaced the rims, the other da while drivin about 65 mph my car started shaking and hesating to move when i stopped there was smoke comin from that wheel smelled like rubber and the brake disk had spots on it.

can anyone help me out befor i get this to the shop?

Sounds like your brake is hanging up. That would count for the spots on the rotor and the smell too as some brakes smell like rubber burning when they are really the ones that are burning.

If I were you I'd jack up the car and pull the wheel and make sure the caliper is moveing freely and that the rotor isn't damaged. That brick could have torn all sorts of stuff up!

yea, id say it would either be a messed up rotor, and the disc isnt moving freely. if it isnt moving freely, it probably needs to be cut, or you many even need a new one.
