I cant seem 2 put my coilovers on my stock struts.... Theres like a washer like metal poking out where the sleeve cant go over 2 get to where the spring sits.... how n the heck do u get it off.... this piece that im talkin about is about 3-4 inches away from where the BIG Ring where the factory spring sits... Did anybody do a coilover install on factory struts (front)??
ebay EL-CHEAPO parts suck ass
get a name brand coil over kit , and dont use ebay crap
1 never ever lower on stock struts
2 never ever trust your car on 50 dollar coils
you got to cut around the 4 little welds on that or grind it down so it will fit around teh strut body.....then u gotta cut where the spring perch is right above the weld and knock that off. i wouldnt do it on stock struts tho cuz yea bad idea.....but if your going to do it look at the instructions on Rksports web site under cavalier suspension and they have a good guide on how to do it there....just spend money for struts man...its not worth crashin cuz you cheaped out....
Thanx Charles
You've been a member here since 04. You should know better than to even attempt that install.
Are you retarded?

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Looks at $50 no name coil-overs *Shudder*...
Why do people insist on associating products like these coil-overs with Ebay as though Ebay made them???

Knowledge about everything and yet an expert of nothing!!
Jack of all trades.
because the majority of the time they are the cheap ones on ebay. yes you can buy ground control and teins off there but the majority of the time they actually fit. all the post about the ebay coils are the cheap 50 dollar coils that some joe smuck threw on there to make a fast buck
