***Does color of Baer Decela Rotors fade?**

thats the pic i find of the baer decela rotors....but im wondering if as they are worn-in, if the color changes from that shiny brushed aluminum look to just flat gunmetal like stock.

i dont know if these particular rotors are that same color all the way through or if they are just plated.

thanks!

If they're anything like the coating on the Eradispeed+ rotors I've got, they'll last for years.

The part where the pads make contact won't stay looking like that though. The rotors are cast iron just like any others so that part will look the same as anything else. It's the rest of them that will say rust-free due to the coating.

Where the pad does not touch the rotor will stay looking like that (provided it's washed off, you could even polish it if you're really nuts like that). The part that touches the pads will look just like a stock rotor (which is shiney anyway, unless it rusts).
