so i just painted my calipers and drums with duplicolor high heat chevy orange and it is way not the color i need. I painted my car omaha orange witch is a lighter more tangerinish orange. Ok so the question is i still have some of the car paint left do i need a high heat additve that i mix with the paint or can i just use that high heat paint as kind of a primer and just spray right over that. I dont know if you guys could help me out that would be great.

I don't know of addtives like that. You can't use regular paint for high temp applications, or even paint over high temp paint with it, since it will still burn off.

You're probably better off using a contrasting color or sticking with the orange than trying to match the body color.

Yeah. You can't mix the paints. Car paint is epoxy or (more commonly) acrlyic based. That caliper paint is ceramic based.
