KYB GR-2's vs. Tokico HP's
Friday, March 17, 2006 6:18 AM
I need to replace my shocks soon, and I can't decide between GR-2's and HP's. I am staying at the stock ride height. Do the HP's offer anything that make them worth the extra $100?

Thanks!

well put it this way. both struts are better than oem and if your staying at stock height w/ stock springs then either would be good. i would take the gr2s over the hps though

I have the GR2's on stock springs and they are better than stock. But they will not handle a drop, which I am planning for in the future.

Have you thought about AGXs? They are adjustable, and will support a drop upto 1.5" incase you want to drop it in the future.

I use GR2s (for non-lowered). No particular reason though.
You can usually find HPs very similarly priced.

I have the AGX's, if your future plans are to do a slight drop they are worth the money and are a great price.
