Trailing Arm Bolt removal ...

I'm putting my rear sway bar on and I can not get the 19mm bolt to budge I have a 300lb/ft torque air impact wrech and it is not doing anything ... I have the rear susp held up slightly with the jack, and the rest of the car on jack stands, so there is relatively no weight on the bolts. Any help to get those bastards off? Thx guy!

You're talking about the big ones that go through the bottom of the struts, right?

Just put some backbone into it! Forget the impact wrench (and the pansy 300 ft-lb one at that... mine does 450...) and get yourself a breaker bar.

Yep, and I recall mine being 18mm, the stock ones at least.

Those impact wrenches usually are not nearly as strong in reverse.
Like WW said, get a breaker bar (or a cheater on a normal wratch), find yourself an 800lb gorilla, and get to it.

You guys are right. I put the breaker bar on and used my jack to lift up the wrech. Its so much easier when hydraulics do the work. I'll have pics of the install in a few minutes. I gotta go take it for a test drive.
