Im going to redo my suspension with a set of agx and springs. I am going to change out the strut mounts, because I am hearing a "loose lumber" sound coming from the front. I am curious, should there be anything else I might want to replace?? Are bump stops needed...
yes bump stops are needed. they need to be trimmed down though if your going w/ aftermarket springs. just check out and look at all the boots and see if anything is torn (ie, tie rod ends, cv joints, etc...)
Can I use my oem bump stops on tein springs? and Im having a hard time finding strut mounts for the 03 anyone know of a place with decent prices..?
Bump stops: Yes, stock bump stops work on all aftermarket so long as it's OE style. Everything but coilovers are.
Mounts: I would replace it with a 95-99 style, but 00-05 are all the same if you can't find 03.
Decend prices: Bend over, prepare for insertion. Mounts are typically $50 to $100.
LOL thanks bro so I can actually use a 00+ yr and will fit no problem? Because who Im ordering from wont get the 2003 model for another 2 weeks, and Im getting the shocks in a couple days so..
if you are using the tein High tech (1.1 inches) the agx's will be fine but if your planning on using the tein S. tech (1.7 inches) you might want to think about going with koni or d-specs.
