What did you start with when you first got air suspension. Tell me what you
think I will need for now and beyond?
If you are talking about after you get them on, here is the only advice I can give when it comes to bags...
Put your valves in an "easy to get to" spot.
Always carry some extra fittings (elbows, unions, a plug that fits your tank, etc.), lines, and maybe a valve.
Always keep some basic hand tools in your car (rachet and wrench set).

that sure is comforting eh
hehehehehehe
i have no clue what your talking about
Basically asking everyone...what they got in they're trunk using for the air ride? Like what kinda setup...
didnt you order a full kit?
i have a 5 gallon tank, a 450c viair compressor, 8 valves, a water trap and a pressure gauge for the tank
Baggdcav-What you mean by water trap? Can youd describe a lil more please.
thanx

you must not ever had a air line blow on you???
any time you do anything like this you always want to keep a couple of nicnak stuff. @!#$ happens.
oh yeah one more thing CHECK VALVES!!!!!!!!!! <-------use them.
8.5 gal tank, viair 380 comp, (8) 3/8 valves, 1/2 line

a water trap is exactly that. it traps water from getting into the system. it goes between the pressure switch and the tank to stop water from going into the tank. while it doesnt eliminate all water it does get some. basically you should drain your tank every month (atleast i do) to make sure there is no water in the tank that could get into the valves
Parker 3/8 valves, 3 gal. tank, 280 Viviar comp., water trap, PS, 1/2 line, 2 dual psi gauges, one single psi gauge for tank, and of course check valves. : ) i spent about $2400 but only because I bought everything seprate.
Also I ran my water trap on the other side of my tank. (Not the comp. side.) I figured no matter what, I was gonna get water in that tank and figured I would try to get it out of the valves and bags. But that's just me. Thinking about getting another trap for @!#$s and giggles.
it should really go between the compressor and tank other wise its pretty much pointless
Yeah. Water traps need to be the first thing after the compressor. They work on pressure differential (as the pressure drops -- compressor is higher than the rest of the system -- water condenses and it traps that condensation).
Baggedcav-Where can a watertrap filter be bought? All other access come with the kit correct? Also How do you go about emptying the tank for water.
thanx.
You can get a water trap from
Here and the easystreet kit comes with a tank with a port on the bottom of the tank with a drain valve to go in the port on the bottom. If i'm wrong someone correct me.
jason at airbagsource.com sells them and you can also buy them at home depot. just make sure you get the right size or else you'll have to get some fitting to make it work. the water traps usually have a little screw on the bottom you just turn and empty the water out. the easystreet tanks have the same type of drain on the bottom. just untwist it and let all the air out. if theres water in there it will come out. if it looks brownish red dont worry, thats from the coating they spray in their tanks so they dont rust
