Alright guys I have a Base modle cavi 2001 no front sway bar. From what i have found so far there are two different possibilities for thread and pitch? Does anybody know when they changed them and if that has been prooven to be true. If anybody has the tread pitch and size that would be great as i will be getting my clamps from gmpartsdirect soon.


Any help would be greatly apreciated, I just don't want to go buy a butt-load of bolts and see what works as i wouldn't have means of driving back to the parts store once i drop everything for install.

I bought my clamps directly from the dealer and I got the bolts from Lowe's hardware.

Bolt: 10 mm x 1.5 thread x 30 mm length

they changed a couple of times, just call the dealer and ask them, have your VIN ready, they will tell you what the right one is. i told them i was stuck in my driveway with a bolt that wouldn't fit and needed to replace it fast.
