i wanna try to get someone to do a BBK GP, as im in the market to buy the fronts asap.
anyone have any interest in this?? I doubt anyone will do a GP with a handful of people interested
show some interest, and ill do the contact to see if any company would be interested in something like this
It's always a good idea until the time comes to pay up, lol... That's when many fall through the cracks and bring the GP down.
If there's interest though, I can give it run if no one else does.

I agree...probably tons of interest, but like Jason said, paying is another thing.
I know I would be in it, but I need bigger wheels and for this semester to end so I can start working.
ya, thats what I hate about JBO. a million people will post saying " i have money right now, or ill be in for sure" then 3 people get in. but i guess when its mostly young kids around here, thats what u gotta expect.
well, regardless, I need a front BBK pretty soon/real soon.
Im down man, I need a front BBK real bad.. Not that im fast right now but they look sick as hell behind my chrome rims hehe.

Btw, do you guys think you can get them any cheaper than the Wilwood kit for 931.00 from Karo?

at this point, id buy anything, lol. SSBC is right down the road from me, and my buddy knows 2 of the guys there, but we havent been able to get ahold of them, so idk if i can get a deal thru them
Baer's here in Phoenix. I don't know if they sell locally, or only go through distributors. I guess I could run over there sometime this week and get some info if you guys wanted. just let me know what to ask them.

I know I should be searching for this...but what is your opinions on who has the best (i hate to use the word 'best') brake package for us?
I'd definitely be interested once I start working this summer and start earning money. Afterall, stock brakes and drums look like @!#$ on a 17 or 18 inch rim. And not to mention, quite uneffective.
Wilwood 2 piece are the lightest, followed by the Baer two piece. I've never heard anything good about the SSBC's.

Bad thing about a baer GP is all the Cavalier/Sunfire kits are made to order. Most times they are so behind it takes 1.5-3 months to make.... No Joke.
SSBC has been about 2-3 weeks as they are all made to order also.

I'd be interested in SSBC kit. Not so soon, maybe in a month or so.

im gonna see what I can do with SSBC. if i can get enough interest for maybe 5 sets or so, i may be able to swing a deal with em. but it would fit right into your time frame. ill see what i can do.
or Jason could do a GP

i can tell you guys the shipping weight on the wilwoods complete , is about 35lbs
the 1 piece 13" rotors from both baer and ssbc , weight right around 40lbs for JUST the rotors(2)
that is for the 2 piece rotors for the wilwoods
the 2 piece baer rotors are about 3lbs lighter for each 1
might i ask what you paid for them????
Id be interested in the 12" front bbk..

i will also say that baer's are made to order....but not quite.
a lot of times, if you get the common Claw system, they have those in stock. if you want to get yours custom, then yes, expect to wait a while.
as for the ssbc, i heard they are a little bit quicker in fulfilling your order, even if it is custom.
wilwoods, well, the only option you have there is the rotor, which you construct anyway

no wait time there (i think).
and damn, all this bbk talk makes me cry
damn the stock 16" wheels!
