Ok I have a 99 Z24, I am in the process of lowering it with Eibach pro kit springs and KYB AGX struts. I have the back two done and i need new front strut mounts. I already replaced the rear mounts.
I CAN NOT find mounts that FIT MY CAR period! I went to autozone looked at 98-99-00 year mounts, even though I thought 95-99 mounts are the same. None fit the top of my stock or after-market springs, they also will not fit my mount bolt holes? I also went to Napa and None of the strut mounts fit my car. The dealership says all the mounts are interchangeable, also the faq says this TOO.
What in the hell is wrong with this picture? Anyone have this experience before?

Autozone is natorious for giving people the wrong strut mounts.. I can't find the thread right now, but someone else was just asking the same thing a few weeks ago. They're probably for a 3rd gen N-Body (92-98 GAM, Baretta, etc)
The correct NAPA number for the bearing plate is: NCP2613193
^What normal breaks and produces the clunk and squeak noises.

^What make a grinding noise, jumpy steering, etc.
That's for a 95-99.
Thank you a lot, I'm unsure what part number Napa gave me, but it was deffentily worng the first time around. I kinda remeber hearing about Autozone and strut something. Thats again.

same problem when i originally dropped my 99, got the wrong mounts, went back and got the right ones, just keep going back in years until someone gets the right one.
looks like autozone right part # is 142406 if they try to hand you # 143035 , take it and slap them with it repeatedly until they get the right one.

Thanks guys, I'm all done know. "Nice and low and good to go." Believe it or not the DEALERSHIP sold it to me for 26$ plus tax, because they had such a hard time finding the right design. They told me there are three designs for a 99. Thanks a bunch guys.
