Went to pick up a couple of new Caliper Pin Bolts and the parts guy gave me two options. The first is the standard type Pin that we all know but then he brought out a newer design. It has a metal sleeve that is inserted into the rubber on the caliper and the bolt slides through this metal sleeve.
Does anyone know why these are being offered now ?
ummm....thats very common. just another way of doing the same thing. they can just replace the bolt inside the sleeve to make it for more than one application.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.
