Need Help Mounting Drag Blocks... PICS??
Friday, January 06, 2006 1:24 PM
I tried mouting some drag blocks this week, building some brackets coming down which would hold the actual blocks below the bracket by welding it to the frame behind the back tire but one tack and it put a hold in the frame. I don't know if it's just thin in that area or what. I am looking for some help or pictures of drag blocks mounted under a cavalier. Thanks in advance anyway you can help is much appreciated... thanks!

I'm kind of curious about this one as well, but spiderwizard
didnt bring up anything good, or anything at all really.

The metal on the unibody is really thin, you have to back the heat way off your welder or it will blow holes in the rails. I've been thinking of making some brackets for the rear section of my cavy so i can use some nice blocks that'll leave nice long trails without burning holes in anything.

If i come up with anything i'll let all of you know asap
