Alright. I recieved my brand new easystreet front struts today. They look way prettier than the old ones I had. Nice steal braded hoses and silver painted housing.

I notice they removed the roll plates from the tops of the bags. I remember 2 years ago I mentioned taking them off and people flamed on me and said I didnt know what I was talking about. I guess that wasnt so much the case sence Easystreet also seems to think its alright without them now.

Anyway. Main reason for the post is that I notice there is NO bearing anymore. JUst a large bushing in its place. Is this setup working out good now? My old set up sucked and made lots of noise. These new mounts were suposed to fix all that.

Im just wondering if they work. Or should I go witht he modded 99 mounts like I had swapped to before.

Can you please take some pics of the struts and mounts? I would like to see and know more about the bump stops that you were telling me about before.

mine make some noise. and it sucks at ride height and all, so i duno how to fix it, and i just put air on this summer, its pissin me off annoyin as hell, any ideas on how to fix?

Those bump stops are on the inside of the bag.
And Im not at home right now so I will have to get pics thursday.


As far as noise. I got rid of most of it when I swapped over to using 99 upper mounts that are modded the same as they are for use with coilovers. Only noises I had after that is what I think was the blown strut itself.
