Ok im hoping that someone can help me with this. First off i have a 2005 ls sport cavy now the problem is that everytime i go over a little bump a noise seems to be coming from the rear strut or in that area. It kinds of sounds like a pop or something rubbing on something. Could my strut already be blown on a 2005 that i got in august ???? I know they arent supposed to last forever and everything but this is a new car. So that is my situation hopefully someone can hlep me out.
if it was a strut you would know. the car would bounce alittle more. usually noises over bumps are signs of bad strut mounts but thats usually a creeking noise though
If it's a creeking, or rumble, or clunk noise it's the mount. If you just bought it (new I assume) it's still under warranty, take it back and let them fix it.
