stabilizer bar on a 98

i have a 98 sunfire that has no front stabilizer bar. I bought it last september. i havent noticed any leaning on turns. Ive seen a 95 sunfire that had one, and it dosent really look like there is any mounting location on my car. Do 98's come stock without a stabilizer bar, or did I buy a shady car?

If you mean stabilizer bar as in sway bar. Some had them some didnt depends on the model.

Oh and you should fill out your registry completely if your gonna ask more questions. It helps people to help you.

All Sunfires came with front sway bars. You have a shady sunny.
Base Cavaliers came without sway bars, but not sunfires.

The mounting locations are there on all models, just need to pick one up, get the little clamps/bolts, and you can install it yourself if you're motivated.

^ Double up on the registry reccomendation.

I've seen plenty of Sunfires in the wrecking yards without front sway bars...

Check the spare tire cover to know for sure. FE0 = no front bar. FE1 = small front bar. FE2 = larger front bar. (amongst other things)

Your wrong.

i have a 2000 sunfire that came without a front swaybar stock from factory.

Some GT's have them, and i know the Convertables have them.

Hey, all I can tell you is what I've been told. Sunfire SEs should have come with the FE1 (smaller sway bar) package, and GTs should have come with the FE2 (larger sway bard package). I don't know how GMs ordering system works, it must allow dealers to order Sunfires witht the FE0 option....
