brakes are screwing up

when i brake hard my steering wheel turns to the right under its own power and the car pulls to the right wondering if there was any measures i could do to fix this or if it was even a common problem

Yeah, check the corners. Are you getting any ABS codes? Is the light on your dash coming on?

If you don't know how to check all your pads and shoes, you might want to take it to a shop and tell them what it's doing.

not getting anycodes ill have to check the wear on both sides and see if one is biting more. but that wont be until next week

wheel cylinder is bad. both mine are bad on both sides so they lock up when i press the brake pedal. dangerous yes. but im lazy. and poor

Those cylinders can be bought as cheap as $12. Doesn't take too much effort to change them. And you may be able to resurect your pads and drum with a good amount of brake cleaner.

Cylinders in the back... could be a caliper up front. My Go Metro did this... destroyed the driver's side back in the process. The slider pin had rusted onto the caliper... wouldn't move, no braking power on the passenger side.

Maybe control arm bushings? Pull off the wheels and check those easily.
