Complete Motorsport is selling on eBay what they advertise as Tein SS-P coilovers for the Cavalier. I e-mailed Complete Motorsport to ask a few questions, and found out that what they sell does not have front camber plates. As can be clearly seen in the photos that Event has posted, the Tein SS-P coilovers do have front camber plates. I e-mailed Complete Motorsport two days ago to question them on this ago, and have not received a response. I e-mailed Tein about this, and though they weren't able to tell me about what Complete Motorsport was selling since they are not an authorized Tein dealer, they said the coilovers on eBay may be black market. Buyer beware.
That's interesting.
I mean, if they order the correct part number then it shouldn't matter.
Granted there wil probably be no warranty.
Its too bad, cause they're the cheapest.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
The situation may be that what Complete Motorsport is selling are cheap knock-offs made by someone other than Tein. There are some Asian manufacturers (no disrespect to Asians) that specialize in making cheap copies of other companies' products.
that kinda sucks....
may be a good thing and may be a bad thing...
good thing would be that they do knockoffs, but have reverse engineered the stuff so that it works and performs the same...
bad thing would be that they did that but used cheaper parts meaning last a shorter amount of time.
i do remember though originally they said they would be selling them with and without the plates. they were gonna do without for around 1000$ which would have been awesome since i already had plates at the time.
but then when i called tein direct, and also had an authorized dealer call em, they said due to our (j-body) market, they didnt want a bunch of selling the plates and not the coilovers leaving them with no plates and a crap load of coils... so they werent gonna split up the kits at this time.
CM might be buying them and selling just without the plates, but most their auctions that come up show em selling with the plates....

thats what the pillowball mount is, an adjustable camber plate.
Complete Motorsport has not responsed to my e-mail questioning their product, making it seem more likely to me that they are selling a counterfeit product. Ebay's stated policy is that "counterfeits, unauthorized replicas, unauthorized items ... are not permitted on eBay". I have a reported a complaint with eBay about this seller possibly selling counterfeit products. I hope that no one is tricked into buying counterfeits.
