I was looking at lowering springs and in the description it would say something like 1.5" drop. Now does that mean it can be lowered up to 1.5"? For example would i be able only lower my car 1"?
Stupid question i know but i would like to know the answer. Thanks
lowering springs will drop the amount given
coil over will drop a varied amount
So if the springs say 1.5" than that's it no less and no more.
Thanx Eric!
yup springs are non adjustable. whatever it says, it is. if you do lower it, make sure to get struts or else you'll probably ruin your kit in the future
Thanx guys. Slowly but surely i'm working on getting my car lowered. i just want to make sure i'm doing things right and i know as much info as i can
the faq in this forum is one of the best ive seen. it has a ton of info and tell you what struts can be used w/ what setups, their warrenties. it gives what springs are good and their drop amount so you know what strut to pair it up w/. i suggest if you dont wanna go to low get the prokit and agx's. nice and simple and it rides great. total maybe about $550
$49 more and i got my sport kit from Jim
i love it
yup prokit and agx's ride great but not where I live. The roads and even highways are so harsh it's not even funny. If you have crappy roads, it WILL take time for you to get used to the harshness of the bumps.
Oh well, the cornering is night and day so I don't mind. Now to take care of that freakin' body roll
