i was thinking on doing cylinders on the front setup like spyderwizard and i know that he used EAI cyliders but i was wondering if they were the mcpherson or regular cylinders
neverdone
I have three eai cylinders and brackets if i can find them that i am selling
prolly like 120-130 depending on how much my new rear bags cost me
whats the difference between cylinders and bags??

Your Sig shows bags. Cylinders look basically like hydraulic cylinders.
well i understand that. i mean in function.......do they operate differently, or do they have different characteristics and things they can/cant do compared to bags?

Bags go lower than cylinders, are generally cheaper (for the same quality), and are more universal (a single bag can be made to fit many different cars usually).
Cylinders don't go as low (in general), are usually more expensive, and are almost always application specific. But Cylinders have one huge advantage: They have two ports (a top and a bottom), and if you use them in the rear you can do a dog leg. And lets face it, air is 99% for the looks.
^^^gotcha, thanks for that info...much appreciated
is it impossible to dog leg it on bags??

no its not. a sway bar helps alot though. cylinders have their pros and cons. i personally would never own cylinders, i just dont like them. they are a bumpy ride unless you get accumulators. the only good thing about cylinders in your able to suck the wheel up into the wheel well instead of having to drop the car. if a cylinder breaks its easier to fix than if a bag rips. you can rebuild cylinders
My cylinders had the same ride as my easystreet fronts and i never had accumulators its just alot harder to get to the right pressure they are usually quicker than bags also without having to get bigger valves
