I need advice, first of I don't own a J-Body but this is the best board for bagged cars with mac struts. I purchased a full EAI X-air kit for my car, I have a Kia Sephia on 18's. The front cylinders are fine but I can't put the rear cylinders in bc it will hit the back of my rim. I even tried it with my stock 14's with a 1/4 spacer and it still hits. I would like Easy Street struts I was looking at the rear struts for a Protege' bc the suspension is similar but I also saw the universal kit so I was wondering which I should try. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Dude, you've got some major kahunas asking about a Kia on the jbo.
I do suggest calling Easy Street and asking them, they have great customer support and I'm sure they'd work with you to get you what you want. 1-800-248-0892 ext 3
neither, get somethin' thats made for your car or make mountin' plates yourself.
That's cool I'll call them up. The reason I asked about the Protege' is bc it looks exactly like my rear the only thing that may be off is the holes on the mounting tabs which is not a problem bc the holes were off on the ones I got from EAI and I corrected that.
yea but its never usually the same. it may look it but once you go to put it on, it never fits. order some rear sleeves from easystreet and just make your own top mounting plate out of some thick metal
