So are we able to buy them or is it still the Group Purchase?
Well from what I've heard, there's some more batches heading over and some in customs. Everyone on the group purchase still haven't recieved there's yet..mainly from the middle of the list to the end. I'm guessing there's about 11 or so delivered.
But you might actually still be able to get the group purchase price if you email gravana..don't quote me on that though
Pictures are hot-linked to photo-bucket, so they may not work long...
Pics of when I had the front setups on. I left it at that height (plus the rears installed) for a few days and never bottomed out, scraped, or anything... ride was good for as low as it was... but not as good as it could have been.
holly crap, u can go really low on these coils

I recently bought the tein basics.................I want gravana's now, with all the adjustabilty they must be great for autox. I mean not even the SS's are double height adjustable........I shoulda saved longer.
Right now I'm having a problem, I get clunking noises from my front over rapid bumps. Clunking sound is like a bad ball joint..yet everything is tight and secure, I have no play what so ever in my suspension.
This is only since I've fitted the gravana coilovers. I don't think anyone else has complained yet, so it must me soemthing i didn't do correctly.
I think the noise is coming from the cars top mount(I'm using 2k version) hitting the cone shaped brass thing at the top of the coilovers.
I tryed removing the cone shaped thing and leaving the bearing there with both races..yet the top mount for the coilover would rub on the cars top mount. So I had no choice to put back that brass cone shaped thing.
It liturely sounds like my front end is going to fall apart when i hit a lot of bumps in a row.
Here's a crappy pic from my phone of the front, this is lifted of the ground(suspension hanging).
I have the 2k mount, then the cone shaped thing, bearing, coilover mount.
As you can see the cone shaped thing sits up against the rubber bushing inside the 2k mount. But there is alittle gap, so the cone pushs on the rubber(rubber flexs) and and wacks the cone on the cars mount when over a row of bumps.
Jim supplied a pic of how to mount the coilovers, but it looks like i'm missing the washer thing above the cone shaped spacer, just before the cars top mount.
Ne-waz I guess my question is, has anyone this same problem with the 2k mounts??
im still waiting to get mine, they SHOULD be coming soon....
and ill be using the 2k+ mounts so hopefully it's gonna work, if not ill have to get the older ones
i belive that mandy is using them just fine....
Holy @!#$, I want these, slammed to @!#$. How are they handling that drop?
that diagram you posted is the same one that i used to install the coilovers with the 95-99 mounts and i'm having no problems. i think jim sent you the wrong diagram.

Ok on the 95-99 mounts, did you just use the rubber mount..or did you have something in the center besides the cone shaped thing that comes with the coilovers.
Reason is I tried using my 95-99 mounts(just the rubber part) up front and the cone thing went right through the mount and wacked the shock into my hood, on the pass. side.
i used the rubber mount and the piece that it shows in step 1. when i took the stock setup apart, that piece had to be separated into piece A and piece B. Piece A sits on top of the gold cone and then the rubber mounts sits on top of that. my setup looks exactly like the picture does.
OK but in step 2, the part right under "A" but above the cone thing. Did that washer thing come with the coilover set up?
mine came with it. it was just a flat gold colored washer. i don't remember whose pictures these are, but this picture shows how the setup should have looked when you got it. right behind the nut, is that washer, followed by the cone piece etc

so far, besides the clunking noise, ive herd the ride is nice and controlled, handles good, and not bouncy at all if you preload the spring a little
Ok well that's exactly what i did when i had the 95-99 mounts on.
i had:
The nut for the strut.
The silver washer.
Big dish washer(from oem assembly)
Cars 95-99 mount.
Cone.
Bearing.
Coilover top mount.
With it secured like that, the cone went right through the mount on the pass. side. This happened when I was doing a hard LH turn on the highway, about 20mins after the install and alignment were done.
I then took off the 95-99 mounts and fitted the 2k mounts..then i get noise, right now man i can't win.

Besides the noise I'm having...these things make the car handle like it's on rails.
There's no boucing at all. I preloaded the front coils till there 6.5inchs long and 7inchs in the rear. I was completely slammed a day ago..but with winter i rasied it alittle. I have somewhat a sportline drop now. I'll see how that works, if not I'll rasie it some more.
i think this is how mine is set up, i don't remember, but i'm tempted to tear it apart and take pictures even though its like 25 degrees outside
nut
stock washer
95-99 mount
piece A from the diagram above
washer that came with coilovers
cone
bearings
coilover top mount
But isn't Part "A" the top 95-99 mount??
