What i have is a 91 cavy 2.2L.. Went to crank it one day and it wouldnt turn over.. so replaced starter and now it turns over but wont start up.. It gets fire,gas,air.. i replace the coil packs, ignition module, crankshaft sensor.. still nothing.. and everytime i turn the key the TB shoots alot of gas and floods the whole engine.. changed oil 2x because gas was in cause flooded out so bad.. any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks
Sounds like you need a new fuel pressure regulator
i changed that and still get lots of fuel.. everytime my ignition is turned over or trying to start the car the injector continues to push mass amounts of gas in the intake... maybe an electrical problem?
If you have fuel, air, and spark that leaves one thing to check, compression ie. your timing chain.
I've seen a bad injector do this.
Well i got it started but for some reason cyl's #1 & #4 are not gettin gas.. Any obtain reason for this? It could be a bad injector, but my check eng. light flashes.. 2...2.. wich is 22 and is TPS could this always be the problem? thanks
