V-6 Rear wheel drive?

has anyone out there switched it up and made their cars rear wheel drive? I know that it would be worth the time if you were dropping in a v-8 but i'm just tossing around an idea. Thanks.

I thought I saw somewhere an LT1 2nd gen, but not sure where. You want to take a stock 3.1L and make it RWD?
