OK here goes.
This is in a 1989 z24
Rebuilt the engine a about 4000 miles ago and the lifters have ticking ever since. No problems with this before rebuild.
From what I can find this appears to be a problem with the 60 degree block.
Has anyone come across a fix or tried a high volume oil pump ?
It's really getting annoying.

my 90 Z ticked(220,000 KMS) and i added lucas oil stabilizer and a oil change and its been fine ever since...
