Hey everyone I tried searching
I have a couple questions.
I have a modded 95 sunfire with a 2.2 L and I Have the chance to get I think a 91 or 92 Sunbird with a 2.2L in. I am looking at swapping the motors due to high mileage . I know I would need to change the Intake manifold over to Throttle body. I am wondering if the Exhaust manifold are the same? Since I have a header, I dont want to change change the motor and lose the it.
Any one know?

sunbirds never had 2.2l in them, they always used the 1.8 or 2.0l SOHC engine (aswell as the 3.1l v6). nothing from a 2.2l will bolt up to it, its in no way related to the ohc engine.

the cavalier had a 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2 ohv engine, and its the same engine as the 3rd gen 2.2l 95-97.

Oh sorry that would be my mistake. I ahvent gotton the car yet it is still at the scrap yard. I thought it was a Sunbird but It is probably a Cavalier as you said. It does definatly have the 2.2l ohv in it though. I just want to make sure that my header will bolt up to it.
