I wanna turbo my 3.1 but if i turbo it i want the speed i will get from it, how do i get rid of the stupid govener?
you dont, simply put. only way to do it without doing hack stuff is to run full stand alone.
If your not hitting the governor in the 1/4 mile then there is no need for it.
Can't some performance chips eliminate the governor? I could be wrong so you'd have to research it. I think the 3.1's are governed at 124 mph, how much faster do you need to go?

what i mean is you have to run a full stand alone ecm. this controlls fuel and spark (as well as other things). since the stock ecm limiter is actualy a fuel cut (shuts the injectors off) you cant get rid of it withough tuning. you could tune your chip and itll remove it, or full stand alone.
what i wanna know is why do you feel the need to hit 189km/h and go beyond that??? very few people see those kind of speeds at the top end of the 1/4 mile, and there arent m,ay road coarses that have that long of a straight away.
